In 2022 I befriended Francis, the bartender and owner of Apollo, my local dive bar in Toronto's East Chinatown. When I was commissioned to make the Artist Project for C Mag's issue themed Chinatown, I offered to give Apollo a drawing and some free press as the project. After some discussion, it was decided that I would give Francis' bar a drawing of a monkey, which referenced the logo outside and was inspired by his daughter's Chinese Zodiac sign. It is on view at Apollo, at 358 Broadview Ave.
